Description

An event where only your Automobile Knowledge is not enough, it also needs your technical skills how you handle the work and plan, to take the challenge till the end. This event is a platform where you have to be technically as well as practically fit, an Engine will be given to you which you need to dismantle and assemble it, the team which completes the task in minimum time wins, you have to be very sharp while performing the activity.


Task

Round 1: (Elimination Round)

  • Test will be taken regarding to the Internal Combustion Engine or automobile engine knowledge.

  • Marks will be given as per the total number of correct answers given.

Round 2: (Guess the Part)

  • All the engine parts will be kept dismantled on the table and Participating Team needs to identify the parts and describe its function for the same, asked by the judge.

  • Remember this round will be rapid fire round you need to be quick in identifying the parts.

  • Points will be given for correct identification and function of the part (If Asked to be).

  • Participating Team can skip the question if Participating Team are not confident about their answer, No points will be given for that or nor it will be repeated.

Round 3: (Create the Engine World)

  • A Single Cylinder 4 stroke – 2 Wheeler Engine will be given to Participating Team, Participating Team need to first dismantle and then assemble it.

  • All the required tools will be provided to Participating Team for completing the task.

 


Rules
  • Any team which is not ready or late at the time of event will be disqualified from the competition automatically.
  • The decision of Coordinators or Heads will be the final decision, no arguments will be entertained or you may lose points or can also be disqualified.

  • Every Team must respect the spirit of the competition; all rights are reserved by the coordinator. They may or may not disclose any information. They can change any rule at any time as per the situation.

  • The coordinators reserve the right to disqualify the team for their misbehavior.

  • There may be any changes in the preliminary rounds and the changes will be informed before the event or round starts.

  • Any parts misplaced or arguing on that topic will not be entertained, participating team need to take care of each part they are positioning.


Judging Criteria
  • Judging will be done by the coordinators.
  • Decision made by the event head will be the final decision and acceptable in any case.

  • Judge will calculate the points after going through all the errors, time noted, and accuracy in completing the task and Certificate will be provided for participation to all the participants.
