Description
  • Luck by Math is an event based on the game called snake & ladder.
  • In this event the participant will act as a piece (kukri) and will have to move accordingly.
  • The volunteer will ask the question to the participant on the specific situations in the game.

Task

Round 1 (Snake and Ladder)

  • The decision of rising up or falling down will be decided on the base of the answer given by the participant.
  • If the participant answers the question correctly, he would be safe in case of snake and would be able to raise the stairs in case of stairs.

Round 2 (Reach and Solve)

  • The decision of rising up or falling down will be decided on the base of the answer given by the participant.
  • If the participant answers the question correctly, he would be safe in case of snake and would be able to raise the stairs in case of stairs.
  • In this event the participant will be given the specific task or the question on reaching some of the essential’s numbers on the game.

Round 3 (Test your skill)

  • This is the final round of Lµck by Math event.
  • In this round, participant will have to throw two dice.
  • Among the two dice, one dice will contain number on its face and another dice will contain the topic on its face.
  • If the participant is able to answer the question correctly of the topic on the dice, then only he/she will be able to proceed ahead, otherwise they will be at same place as before. Also, he would be safe in case of snake and would be able to raise the stairs in case of stairs.

Rules
  • No external help will be permitted.
  • Use of pen and paper is not permitted to give answer.
  • Faculty Coordinators’ decisions shall be final and binding.
  • 4 players will be playing the game at a time.

Judging Criteria
  • The participants, who will reach the highest position within the short period of time will be considered.
