Description
  • Cr@zy Math is an event of childhood games including twist of mathematics. This event includes games which we have played once in our childhood time. This is a group event.
  • There are total three rounds in this event. This event will definitely prove that mathematics is a game of fun.

Task

Round 1 (Hop Scotch)

  • This round is very fun inventing round in which participants will complete given tasks.
  • Participant’s task would be to hop scotch and reach to 1st line, pick the envelope from the three which are hanging in front of him.
  • Among the 3 envelopes only one envelope would consist of question where as other two will be blank.
  • If he picked the envelope containing the question, he will solve it but if picked the empty envelope, he has to again go to first line to pick another envelope.
  • He has to solve the question then has to pick the envelope from the 2nd line and same for 3rd line.
  • One by one each participant of team will perform this task.

Round 2 (Three-legged Race)

  • Second round of this event is very interesting because it requires the active participation of both the members.
  • This round consists childhood game which is combined with mathematics.
  • One leg of both the participant will be tied and will have to run from the starting line to the finish line.
  • The participant would pick envelope from finish line and solve the given question after reaching the starting line.
  • This activity is performed three times per team.

Round 3 (Dog and the Bone)

  • This is last and final round of the event.
  • In this round the both the teams will have to effectively participate with mental and physical fitness.
  • Handkerchief will be placed in the circle.
  • If the one is able to steal the handkerchief and is able to reach his portion without being touched by the opponent member, he/she will get extra points for the same.
  • Both the team will be given the question to solve though the other team is not able to pick the handkerchief.

 


Rules
  • No external help will be permitted.
  • Faculty Coordinators’ decisions shall be final and binding.

Judging Criteria
  • The winner is based upon points scored by the team.
  • In case of more than one team succeeding in the task, the one doing it the earliest shall be given higher priority.
